Ingredients:

  • wheat groats – 400 g

  • poppy seeds – 50 g

  • walnuts – 50 g

  • raisins – 30 g

  • honey – 50 g

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the wheat groats, cover with plenty of water, and add a pinch of salt.

  2. Cook on low heat until done (about 40 minutes).

  3. Drain the cooked porridge in a colander and let it cool.

  4. Rinse the poppy seeds and soak them in boiling water for 30 minutes, then drain, add a small amount of sugar, and grind in a mortar or another suitable container.

  5. Chop the walnuts, rinse and dry the raisins.

  6. Add the poppy seeds, raisins, walnuts, and honey (diluted in a small amount of warm water) to the cooked wheat porridge. Mix well.
